History of our School
St Martin of Porres RC Primary School opened in April 1972 in Blake Road, as a second primary school to serve the parish of St Paul the Apostle in Wood Green, for an estimated 245 children.
The school was originally built as an 'open plan school' with shared practical areas between the classrooms. The school buildings have undergone many changes such as the addition of the nursery built in 1980 and the computing suite completed in 1998.
