Friday 28 April 2023 Year 5 Trip to the Saatchi Gallery Year 5 had an amazing opportunity to visit the Beyond the Streets London art exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery which focuses on street art from over 100 different artists. These included photographs, large scale murals, graffiti, paintings, sculptures as well as large scale installations. Some of the highlights of the exhibition were from street artists Aixo, HuskMitNavn?, Swoon and Faile. We were given a guided tour of some of the highlights and after being inspired, we had a chance to create our own street art using our stencils which we made.

Friday 21 April 2023 Year 1 visit to Paradise Park Ash Class had an amazing trip to Paradise Park yesterday where they saw and learnt about many animals. During their lesson there they were shown many different types of animals which belong to animal groups such as amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals and fish. They also had a walk around the zoo where they saw lions, tigers and bears! To complete their day with a bang they saw the moving dinosaurs! Scary!

Tuesday 8 June 2021 Ocean Day It’s World Ocean Day on the 8th of June and we will be celebrating all day! The activities will introduce children to the awe and wonder of the oceans and its inhabitants building a love for marine wildlife and a desire to protect it. The children will also hear from guest speakers from Green Peace and the wildlife. Please note that this will be a non-uniform day and all children should wear blue or/and green.

Wednesday 7 October 2020 St Martin's cross-generational gardening project An article published in Haringey's Home Zones featured the children of classes 5 & 6 on a project started last year between the school and the elderly residents of Hilldene Court. The children have been helping to plan, design and develop a garden with help from the Royal Horticultural Society.
